Trending Tea Tasting Episode 5 | Shaken Tea Refreshers

As a company based in Arizona, we are always looking for ways to enhance our iced tea drinking experience. For a refreshing iced tea, you do not have to stick with just tea and ice or even lemonade to make your tea special. Sun Tea and Cold Brew are additional ways to consume tea cold, but now, you can make a chilled glass of tea similar to making a fancy cocktail. We call it a Shaken Tea Refresher!

Using a cocktail shaker creates a refreshment that evenly spreads out the flavor and cools the drink faster without watering down your beverage. If you do not have a cocktail shaker, you can also use a jar with a lid or two cups that fit together to form a shaker. This technique is not necessarily new and is used at many coffee shops for both espresso and tea. Like many of the taste test recipes we have tried, this drink is perfect for the summer months and is incredibly versatile. You can keep it simple with just your brewed tea of choice and ice, add some delicious flavorings, or even include a splash of milk for a more creamy taste. Watch our newest video to see how we made this tasty and cool drink with simple but delicious ingredients.

Ingredients:

  • Ice
  • ½ ounce of Raspberry Syrup
  • Darjeeling organic black tea
  • Splash of Milk if Desired (You can also use a dairy-free alternative)

*This is what we used in our recipe, but feel free to use any kind of tea or syrup you like. Have fun with it!

Steps:

  1. Brew you tea of choice and let it cool at least to room temperature.
