Getting to Know Hackberry, Episode #2 - Jenna Kellso

A couple of months ago, I sent out an email with a Q&A about my sister Zoë.  It was fun to have her create & fill out the survey and I was delighted by how many responses I received in response.  So it is time for another Q & A.

This one is with my wife Jenna.  She is the glue that keeps Hackberry Tea together. Hackberry Tea wasn't her idea and isn't her passion, but she treats it like her own. If you call our number, you'll likely talk to her.  If you typed your mailing address incorrectly, she made sure you got your coffee anyway (you'd be surprised how often that happens).  If we make a mistake strategically, she is the one that tells me and gets us going the right away again.  Every bag of coffee shipped in some way has her fingerprints on it.

But that's not all.  We also have a sister business, Sagebrush Coffee  She spends as much time on that business as Hackberry, if not more.

She doesn't state it below, but when she's not working on our businesses, she is helping raise our 3 kids, volunteering at our church, running our household and caring for more people around her than I could count.  She truly is a treasure.

So let's learn a little bit more about Jenna Kellso.

Q & A With Jenna Kellso:

My name is: Jenna

Where were you born?
Phoenix, AZ

I’m inspired by:
The Bible, my kids, nature.

I collect:
Pens. I have way too many pens. I will definitely buy more.

I never leave the house without:
My phone and my purse. And clothes.

If I could live in any decade it would it be?
I'd love to spend time in the 1950's.

On a Sunday afternoon, I like to:
Start laundry for the week and take a nap. If I don't do these very exciting activities, I'll be tired and behind on laundry. You get it.

My favorite hobby:
I enjoy all things related to food and cooking, as well as crafts and decorating.

What is your favorite TV show/shows?
My all time favorite is 30 Rock- our Lemon Beagle is named after Liz Lemon!

If you could travel anywhere, where would you go?
I've been trying to convince Matt to take me to Chicago-he's never been and I'd love to go back!

What secret talent do you have?
I am quite good at painting, really professional. Walls, not canvas.

The best part about working at Hackberry is:
Supporting my husbands passion and working alongside him on something that is important to both of us.
