Berries: Teas With This Ingredient are "Berry" Full of Flavor
- by Karla Walker
Fruit-forward teas have always been a favorite here at Hackberry. They are delicious brewed hot and incredibly refreshing iced. One of our favorite fruits to include in a tea blend are berries. These can be strawberries, raspberries, and even blackberries. We love them all! Berries bring sweetness and a beautiful, scarlet color to blends, and are always the perfect addition to any type of tea, from black to rooibos.
Berries are a common ingredient in fruit teas. They provide not only a fruity and bright flavor but also add some health benefits. Berries are rich in vitamins and antioxidants, which are added to tea to increase the health benefits. Teas with berries are made by steeping leaves from specific berry trees and may include other ingredients. Adding real fruit can enhance the flavor and brightness of the tea. You can enjoy teas with berries hot or iced. You can add other ingredients like lemonade to make them even better. We are featuring two berry-full teas that are go-to's when we are craving a vibrant and delightfully tart treat!
Here are just some of our tea offerings that contain berries:
Elderberry Tart – A balanced tea flavor with elderberry which is often known to have health benefits.
Blueberry Burst Green Rooibos – Full-bodied and balanced flavor with elderberry and blueberry flavor.
